Despite a privileged location right in the heart of Battersea, this serene home feels like it could be in the countryside. Secluded away down a picture-perfect mews, the façade resembles converted Victorian stables, while the interiors are adorned with vintage-style furniture that lends the home a chic farmhouse atmosphere. The colour palette is soothing and calm, which is in keeping with the setting and allows for complete tranquillity during your stay. Battersea is lovely, but it's not central London. However, the newly opened Battersea branch of the Northern line opens up the rest of the city to you, while there are plenty of convenient bus routes serving more off-the-beaten-track destinations. There are plenty of things to do nearby, including going for a riverside walk in beautiful Battersea Park, a couple of minutes away. Cross over the Thames, and you'll find bustling Chelsea within a ten-minute walk, with its upmarket shops, vibrant bars and fine dining restaurants. Alternatively, hop on the bus and head to Clapham for a lively village vibe, while lively Brixton is one of London's coolest cultural hubs – both are around half an hour away.
