Nestled between the regal buildings of Edinburgh’s UNESCO New Town, this beautiful apartment puts you right in the West End. With Princes Street a mere five minute walk away, you’ll not only wind up in the buzzing centre of the city, but also have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the iconic Edinburgh Castle. Wander through the cosy neighbourhood and pop into one of the many restaurants serving fresh Scottish fare. To see the city’s more tranquil side, head to the Water of Leith walkway – a seven-minute stroll away – a traffic-free riverside path linking the beautiful Dean Village with Modern Art Galleries and beyond. If you wish to explore further afield, Haymarket Station is a stone’s throw away – from here you’ll be able to make a number of day trips around the country by rail. Back at this home, you’ll find the open living area brimming with vibrant artwork that sits in stark contrast with the otherwise neutral colour palette. There are plenty of period details, including corniced ceilings and huge sash windows, that blend perfectly with contemporary designs in this Georgian apartment. Speaking of windows – they let in plenty of light, which really contributes to... how natural and relaxing this home feels. If you’re one for afternoon naps, you’ll be very taken by the sheer size of this bedroom. Doze off on the comfy bed as the afternoon sun starts to dip and wake up refreshed to head out for a night on the town.
