This building was once the site of a major manufacturer and there are certain industrial-chic aspects retained in the current apartment, such as the exposed whitewashed brickwork and the bare lightbulbs hanging artfully from a girder. The huge windows that line the walls feel similarly functional, in that they flood the space with natural light — the fact that they also give wonderful views of the Philadelphia skyline is an added bonus.
