Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

With a bevvy of balconies and a sprawling terrace, it's hard to believe this apartment is in the centre of Madrid. Outside space this extensive is tough to find – and trust us, you'll take full advantage when you're not out and about. The interior spreads across two floors, and you'll need to tread carefully up and down the spiral staircase. We're big fans of the crisp and classic design (especially those ornate ceilings and French doors). Another thing we love? You can walk to Puerta de Sol, Plaza Mayor and Teatro Real, not to mention plenty of shops and eateries.

Home truths

The floating spiral staircase may not be suitable for children.

The bedroom is on the mezzanine level, with the stairs leading straight into the room. There's also a small loft area.

There may not be any seating on the terrace or balconies. That said, we think they're still nice additions.

Due to the central location, noise is to be expected.

Youth groups, as well as stag and hen parties, are not allowed.

Parking isn't provided, but you won't need a car in Madrid. Instead of driving, we suggest exploring on foot or hopping on the metro. The nearest stop is a short walk away.

About Puerta del Sol

Puerta del Sol is the epicentre of the city and home to Madrid’s most famous meeting point – ‘Oso y El Madroño’, the bear with the strawberry tree. The central square of this neighbourhood is quite literally where all the roads in the Iberian peninsula lead to, which means it’s really hard to get lost if this is where you want to go. This area is popular both day and night, with buskers, natives, and tourists snapping photos of some of Madrid’s most iconic sights.
