This Parisian pad is located in the leafy suburb of Boulogne-Billancourt. With a Metro station within walking distance, you’ll have the whole of the capital within easy reach, and you’re near the river for strolls along the Seine. The apartment boasts a private garden – something you’d be unlikely to find in the city centre – which is the perfect place to relax after a busy day sightseeing. It’s a lived-in home so you’ll find a well-thumbed book collection here, among other personal belongings. While the sleeping arrangements won’t suit everyone – the third bedroom has a cabin bed and the bath and shower can only be accessed from the main bedroom – we think this is a good option for a family.

Today, Boulogne is home to the ultra rich with homes owned by media personalities, politicians and actors alike, although it's also very residential. The nearby parc de Boulogne is one of the capital's...
