Despite there being a handful of similar apartments in the same building, this home's character and charm really stood out to us. Plus, the location puts you in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood, but still right in the thick of things. Stroll a couple of kilometres to the Vatican City, discovering St. Peter's Basilica and the surrounding, historic buildings. Walk thirty minutes in the other direction to find the Pantheon – from there, descend the Spanish Steps to the beautiful Trevi Fountain, under half a mile away. Small but mighty, there's plenty of natural light inside, with homely touches that make for a cosy space to unwind after a day spent sightseeing, shopping and limoncello-sipping. We love the vintage 60s feel around the home, benefitting from a plush blue velvet sofa, bistro-style chairs and an antique rug. Although there's still plenty of modern comfort and luxury here too, with a swanky en-suite bathroom boasting marble surfaces and brass fittings. There are also a few added benefits that you wouldn’t usually expect from a holiday rental home – from the complimentary cleaning service to the downstairs concierge.
