A room with a view – yes please. This apartment is based in the historic Graça district, close to the Senhora do Monte viewpoint. Its elevated position means that it boasts a glorious view of Lisbon, which can be enjoyed on the petite but charming balcony. The rest of the apartment is on the small side too, but with so much to explore from your doorstep, you’re not likely to want to spend too long inside anyway. Most of Lisbon’s must-visit sights are within walking distance, so pack comfy shoes.

Home truths
Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
Your host can provide a cot, high chair, pushchair, and baby bath free of charge.
Though this home can accommodate up to four guests, it’s on the smaller side. There isn’t much room to unwind in the living room, and the balcony is petite for sure. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
This home is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility as there are stairs to the entrance of the apartment.
Parties and events are not allowed here. Your host asks that you respect the quiet hours from 10pm during the week and from midnight at the weekend.

Local guide
About Mouraria
With street performers, Fado shows and lots of unmissable sights, Mouraria should be at the top of your list. A trip through its narrow streets is like stepping back in time, revisiting the rich cultural background even before the great earthquake of 1755. In fact, the story goes that Fado was born in Mouraria, and it’s since made its way to the UNESCO World Heritage list. Although it’s quite central, this neighbourhood has a strong local community and an independent art scene that will show you a side of old, nostalgic Lisbon that you won’t find anywhere else.
