Perfectly positioned between the Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s Square – and right on the Rio del Piombo canal – this charming apartment blends Old World charm with modern comforts to give you a wonderfully carefree stay. We love the home’s low-slung beamed ceilings and its dreamy views of the canal below – perch by the window with a glass of wine and spot the gondolas floating by. The dining area beckons intimate Italian meals when you’re not out sampling the local food scene, and with a shelf full of books in the living room, the sofa beckons luxurious hours reading over an espresso or an aperitivo. The two bedrooms, meanwhile, are pared-back and decorated in Venetian art prints, while the pair of bathrooms ensure mornings get off without a hitch when getting ready to set off for a day of exploring. Speaking of sightseeing, you’ve got plenty to see and do within easy reach, including the Rialto Bridge (a three-minute walk), St Mark’s Square (a seven-minute stroll) and the Doge's Palace (a ten-minute walk). Your host can also help arrange a wide variety of activities to enjoy, including cooking classes, guided city tours and personal shoppers,... giving you plenty of options when it comes to experiencing Venice in style.
