This isn't your typical Cotswolds hideaway, that's for sure. Don't get us wrong, we thought this pad had oodles of charm and plenty of characterful touches, but the mid-century inspired design is more trendy than traditional. Picture plush leather sofas, a statement-making hay-stuffed bench, colourful Farrow & Ball paint and funky antler artwork – it's an immaculate mishmash of styles and textures. And your lovely host has thought of all the details, including a basket filled with locally sourced goodies and a bottle of Prosecco – we thought it was the perfect welcome. After a wander around the village, curl up with a book in the window seat or pour yourself a glass of wine and get cosy for a Netflix movie night. Light floods through the kitchen thanks to the skylights, making it a great spot to rustle up a meal while listening to your favourite tunes on the Sonos speakers. Come bedtime, snuggle up in the sumptuous beds for a restful night's sleep.
