With an illustrious list of previous residents, this spectacular Venetian palazzo is the finest we've ever seen. If only the walls could speak. Rich in treasures, it's a perfect example of the masterpieces that result from blending tradition and innovation. Imagine this incredible piano nobile in its heyday ringing with laughter and conversation of intellectuals, artists and poets. With its original sparkling terrazzo floors and magnificently restored frescoes from the 1600s, you can easily envisage Casanova dropping by, which neatly brings the conversation round to the exquisite bedrooms. Relax in luxury on the designer sofas or drink up the atmosphere on the magnificent terrace accessed via the elaborate art-nouveau door. This masterpiece was designed by the Murano artist Napoleone Martinuzzi, who also once resided at the palazzo. Once outside, you're lucky enough to enjoy expansive views of the canal while you sip your morning espresso –...
