Inspired by Brazil’s lush rainforests, this beautiful flat in Barcelona’s Gràcia district feels like a jungle waiting to cocoon you in its green, tropical embrace. We love the living room’s exposed brick wall, forest-green palette and shelf covered in tumbling ferns, creating a feeling of total relaxation. Our favourite spot, however, is the conservatory-style balcony. Open up the main room’s French doors to unwind in this glass-enclosed oasis, where a sofa and hanging chair invite you to sip your morning coffee while taking in the hustle and bustle of the street below. With both earthy bedrooms boasting their own balconies too, you can wake up and greet the city first thing before heading to the desk space to catch up on work – if you must. When you’re ready to explore, you’ll find countless tapas bars, Catalan cafes and bohemian boutiques right outside your door, while Gaudí’s gorgeous Casa Milà is just a fifteen-minute walk away. After a day of fun and sightseeing, come back home to relax in your jungle haven while a record plays, then gather together around the tall kitchen table for a meal and a glass of wine.

About Gràcia
Gracia once was a separate town from Barcelona, and although that’s no longer the case, it still retains its unique feel. This cool neighbourhood is a maze of narrow streets and relaxed squares. Restaurants and cafes spill onto the pavements, buzzing with the hum of conversation. Creatives have made Gracia their home, and with that comes independent galleries, book shops and quirky shops. It seems fitting that this is the...
