Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
If you’re staying in El Born, one of Barcelona’s trendiest neighbourhoods, then you need an apartment to match – fortunately, this beachy boho abode is just the ticket. We loved how finca-style ceilings juxtapose the modern, sleek black accents and plaster-effect walls. Straw hanging lamps and an abundance of woven textures add a sense of grounding that encourages you to slow down and switch off. And where better to put your feet up than the covered terrace. Spend unhurried mornings sipping milky coffees in the hanging chair before setting the table ready for a breakfast of local produce. Afternoons are to be spent sunning yourself on Barceloneta Beach, just a fifteen-minute mosey from your doorstep. Enjoy picnics in the glorious Ciutadella Park, five minutes away, and gentle strolls through the medieval streets that surround your building. At the end of the day, head into the Gothic Quarter for glasses of sangria in old-world tapas bars.
