The lifeblood of Barcelona’s art and architecture runs through the region of Gràcia. These streets exude sophistication, peppered with Gaudí masterpieces for good measure. Just a ten-minute walk from the designer boutiques of Passeig de Gràcia, and a further two minutes down this stretch to Casa Milà, this apartment is made for city-dwellers with an eye for elegant aesthetics. In this typically Catalan block, the studio has somewhat atypical Catalan interiors. Modern, Scandi-style furniture dominates the bright living space, where multiple French doors open along your extended balcony. We love the use of wooden floors alongside lush potted plants, bringing an organic side of the home to life. In contrast, industrial elements such as black metal lighting fixtures remind you of the metropolis below. Take in the sounds of the city as you relax on the communal terrace, a glass of tempranillo in hand. Or if you fancy a change from urban melodies, stick a vinyl on the record player and sink into your sofa. And there’s even a third option. Head to the residents’ pool and let your mind float away to the gentle sounds of water.

About Gràcia

Gracia once was a separate town from Barcelona, and although that’s no longer the case, it still retains its unique feel. This cool neighbourhood is a maze of narrow streets and relaxed squares. Restaurants and cafes spill onto the pavements, buzzing with the hum of conversation. Creatives have made Gracia their home, and with that comes independent galleries, book shops and quirky shops. It seems fitting that this is the...
