Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
There's a real mix of influences in the design of this apartment in the Castellana neighbourhood of Madrid and they work together to make for an address that's completely unique. The wooden furnishings and muted colour palette are inescapably Scandi in style, while the impressive house plant collection and woven decorations bring some boho charm to the interior. In contrast, the minimalist kitchen and travertine-tiled bathrooms are as contemporary as you could wish for. Although the home is a lovely space in which to hang out, it's also in an excellent location that makes it easy to see the Spanish capital on foot. The Golden Mile's elegant shops and restaurants can be reached in under a quarter of an hour's walk, as can the National Archaeological Museum and Sorolla Museum.

Local guide
About Salamanca
Salamanca is Madrid’s most glamorous and prestigious quarter. Usually associated with aristocratic façades, wide avenues, and luxurious living (atypical for Madrid’s cosy centre), the neighbourhood attracts domestic and international elite. It’s also home to many embassies and private schools, as well as niche museums and designer boutiques along its ‘Golden Mile’. The demanding clientele has made the food scene equally exclusive, but while you’re likely to find quite a few Michelin-star restaurants in the area, there are lots of relaxed tapas bars for those less willing to splash the cash.
