Catalonia village life awaits at this sublime apartment housed in a 450-year-old Masia residence in rural Barcelona. Surrounded by crumbling castles, verdant woodlands, and hidden waterfalls, settings don't get much more idyllic. With walking and cycling pathways leading straight from your door, you can dive right in to it all. Or jump in the car for a city fix in Barcelona or beach day at Sitges – both are just an hour's drive away. Though you may find all you need back at home in this former farmhouse, expertly restored by its owners to create seven luxurious apartments. Discover a shared poolside and bubbly Jacuzzi within its beautifully landscaped terraces – the perfect spot for soaking up the surrounding woodlands, castle views and Catalonia sunshine. And luckily for you, you'll have the same vistas upstairs inside this stylish apartment, perched in the rafters of the residence's attic. Sunny mornings call for lingering coffees on the balcony before a lazy breakfast in the light-filled living area – there's everything you need to rustle up a meal in the well-equipped kitchen. And you can always sneak back to the king-sized bed with a second coffee – those views will be right there... still through the charming Juliet balcony doors.

Visit the impossible view at Tibidabo
The place doesn't even look real when you see the photos. The fantastical church of Sagrat Cor in the mountains is its greatest hit, but we recommend you take the whole day to explore the mountain.
Go see a football match at Camp Nou
The stadium of Camp Nou has been the home stadium of FC Barcelona since its completion in 1957. It's always got great energy and seeing the team play on their home turf is an absolute treat.

Very nice park but behind Sants Estacion, with a great selection of swings and games for kids.
Have a romantic dinner at Antigua
Mediterranean food in a lovely room with low lighting, brick walls and lots of atmosphere.
Drool over scrumptious cheeseburgers at Chivuo's
A low-key 'slow street food' place with great burgers and a great range of craft beers.

Brera is a cosy, family-owned place that has stayed true to its origins and serves up some of the best pasta in Barcelona.
Spoil your inner wine snob at La Vicoca
A hidden gem and one of the most highly recommended wine bars in the city. Come taste their great selection of wine and delicious tapas!
