This rustic Southern Spanish home in Alhaurín de la Torre is both a relaxing retreat from the tempo of the town and the perfect place from which to explore the Guadalhorce valley. Boasting simple yet stylish interiors, a comfortable light filled living room complete with woodburning stove, fully equipped kitchen cum dining room and terracotta tiled floors throughout, not to mention a sunbathing terrace and private outdoor pool, this home is sure to delight. After breakfast why not peruse the bookshelves and take your chosen volume out onto the terrace, laze on loungers in the sun before cooling off with a refreshing dip in the pool. Spend the afternoon preparing a family sized paella, while the kids play at cooking in the pint-sized pantry cum games area, and dine alfresco at the covered dining table on the terrace. Come evening you’ll want to cosy up with a glass of wine on the sofa for movie night. Alternatively, make the most of your home’s central location and all that the whitewashed town of Alhaurín de la Torre has to offer by way of ancient architecture, gardens, parks, restaurants and bars. Why not follow up a visit to San Sebastian Church... and the ‘Japanese Garden’ with some fresh fish or roast lamb at a local eatery before sampling a little of the town’s endearingly Andalusian nightlife – late to start, late to finish, friendly and inexpensive.
