Imagine waking up each morning, throwing open the curtains on the floor-to-ceiling windows and immediately being greeted by the stunning crystal-clear ocean. A place where you can head straight out onto the peaceful balcony, close your eyes and breathe in the gorgeous sea air, while you listen to the birds that are perched in the swaying palm trees surrounding you. Sound like paradise? You'd be right.

You and eleven lucky loved ones will enjoy an absolutely blissful stay at this Bahamian abode, based right on the sands of Long Bay Beach, which provides a private haven from which to explore this stunning island. You can head down to the sands via your own route from the back garden, where you'll find sun loungers waiting for you. The pool deck is something special, too, with a pool for cooling off as well as a spa tub for chilling out – with plenty of poolside seating where you can rest and take it all in.

Inside, the home is a modern marvel, with high ceilings, tall windows and contemporary furniture that make the home feel luxurious and tranquil. There are loads of varied seating areas where you can enjoy drinks and conversation with your friends and family, and calming lounge areas for when you want some you-time. Each room has its own en-suite, and some feature balconies where you can enjoy the sea views in perfect peace.

Beachfront Breeze

Right on the caster-sugar sand of Turks and Caicos’ Long Beach, you can pad barefoot from swimming pool to beach lounger in a matter of seconds here. A small section of the beach is roped off with loungers, especially for guests at this home. Lush gardens surround a modern, lavish villa where palm fronds rustle in the sea breeze and a turquoise pool invites you for a midday dip. Around the poolside, you’ll find an outdoor shower to wash sandy feet, and a handful of outdoor lounges – some shaded by pergolas and some set up in the sun. 

The open-plan living area inside is awash with light, thanks to walls of glass looking out to the terrace and beach beyond. It feels cool in both senses of the word – exposed white-brick walls and a warehouse-style finish keep things breezy and stylish inside. There’s plenty of room to cook in the light-wood kitchen, courtesy of two central islands and oodles of countertop space. Breakfast is a delight at the tables by floor-to-ceiling windows. When it comes to getting some shut-eye, we love the carved wooden bedframes – a four-poster fit for a princess and natural polished wood that could have been collected from the beach. This place certainly embraces its seaside location. 

Barefoot Luxury

The home is equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, and a safe. Enjoy the best of this Grace Bay Beach location that puts you on the world-renowned turquoise shores in just a five-minute walk. Meanwhile, the apartment offers the perfect base to soak up an authentic Caribbean experience. Furnished with comfort and practicality in mind, the space presents a modern, open-concept set-up with plenty of room for a family or group of friends to come together in a social setting. 

With a screened-in balcony, you'll have your own secluded outdoor space here, too – idyllic for al fresco dining and serving home-cooked meals. But, of course, you also have shared access to the on-site swimming pool and the private landscaped grounds. Here, you'll find pool-side lounging spots in utter peace and tranquillity. 

Take morning strolls along the shores of Grace Bay Beach – boasting paradise views, soft white sands and crystal-clear waters. The sunset scenes here are just as beautiful and offer the perfect way to end your day amid the warm tropical breeze. In addition, Grace Bay Beach village invites you to explore its quality restaurants, bars, shopping opportunities and nightlife, which are within easy reach. Meanwhile, if you're into golfing, why not book a slot at Providenciales Golf Course – just a two-mile drive away? 

Island of Paradise 

Just a ten-minute drive from the centre of Grace Bay, this seaside villa delivers delightful views over the glistening north shore. Within walking distance, you'll discover a handful of laidback cafes and shacks. Or, a four-minute car journey away lies the white sands of Babalua Beach, forming part of the Princess Alexandra National Park. What's more, nearby Smith’s Reef invites you to snorkel among the exotic sea life. 

When it comes to admiring a postcard panorama during breakfasts on the balcony, this home couldn't be any better. Can you see yourself taking a dip in the plunge pool before soaking up the sunshine with your headphones in? Dotted with intimate seating areas, there are plenty of places to gather your loved ones amid a tropical garden. Perhaps you'll even hire a chef to introduce you to some Turks and Caicos cuisine while you stay here. After sunset, carry your cocktails into the main bedroom and spend clear nights looking at the constellations through a telescope.

Treated to a fantastic spot on the Providenciales , the architect behind this stunning villa must have taken one look at the incredible ocean view and decided to incorporate as many glass walls as possible into the design – and can you blame them?

If you want to explore the locale a little more, there are paddleboards and kayaks available to borrow, and it's only a short pathway down to the inviting waters of Sapodilla Bay. In the opposite direction, Chalk Sound National Park is just as close and offers even more opportunities for watersports.

Utopian Abode

Once owned by legendary musician Prince, this sprawling villa on the exclusive Turtle Tail peninsula embodies his larger-than-life spirit. Inside, the quintessentially-Carribean white walls and dark wood furniture make a perfect setting for entertaining. Head to one of the communal areas overlooking the ocean and enjoy a toast, before watching the sunset over a glass of the finest rum on the white sands of the private beach.

Wake up early and stretch out on the oceanside yoga platform, before taking a dip in the three-tier infinity pool. Later in the day, take a drive down the private Venetian Road (preferably in a little red corvette), taking in the stunning views as you head towards the island’s centre to enjoy the boutiques and galleries. 

Fit for the Prince

On a private estate in Grace Bay, this luxurious villa is perfectly placed for exploring the award-winning beaches of Turks and Caicos. Within an easy distance of white sands and crystal-clear water, this is the ultimate island getaway, and your host can provide portable beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler so you can rest assured the essentials are covered. The home office doubles up as a fourth bedroom thanks to a sofa bed, which would probably be best suited to two kids. You couldn’t ask for a better location here – jump in the car and be at the village, golf course or coastline in minutes.

Beautiful by Nature

It's based in lovely Leeward, a gated community that surrounds the Ailla Canal, where you can enjoy watersports and wild swimming. This canal runs along the bottom of your garden, so a stay here means you can access this beautiful waterway from your own home. There's even a stand-up paddleboard that you'll have access to during your stay for when you want to adventure down the river.

The home is absolutely breathtaking – the garden is truly something special, being framed by leafy palms that sway lazily in the Bahamian breeze. Here, you can enjoy a dip in the private pool, or lay back and rest on one of the poolside loungers. There's a seating area here too that's perfect for sipping on your morning coffee while you discuss the itinerary for the day.

Inside, you'll find contemporary interiors that feel fresh and bright, inviting you to come and rest out of the sunshine. There's a lush lounge area that's great for an afternoon nap, and a wonderful kitchen for cooking up feasts of conch chowder. You can tuck in around the dining table, which sits in a glass-walled conservatory that lets the outside in, so you can make the most of the gorgeous garden views.
