We’re speechless, no words will ever do this home justice. Complete with a pool, hot tub, elevator and cinema room, this palatial villa is lavish, elegant, and opulent all at the same time. There’s plenty of room for quiet moments – en-suite bedrooms with sleigh beds, Japanese soaking tubs and a master with a freestanding fireplace. Plus more than enough space for socialising like royalty; in the grand lounge amidst marble busts and velvet chaise longues; in the kitchen where a twinkling chandelier illuminates the central island; or in the hot tub, under the shade of a gazebo. The terrace is swathed with thick curtains, providing the perfect spot for an evening tipple overlooking the pool, and there’s plenty of room to store merlots from the Judean Hills or Cab Sauvs from Upper Galilee in the cavernous wine cellar. The host, Eti, has designed everything herself – and it’s easy to see that she cares for the smallest of small details.

Nestled between Florentin, Levinsky Market, and Neve Tzedek, this one-bedroom home is in a wonderful location if you’re looking for cool shops, charming restaurants, and bars. While it’s not the biggest home, we love that it feels so personal. Brimming with knick-knacks, turquoise splashes of colour, and eye-catching art, it’s easy to see that Ruthi and Am have put a lot of effort and love into designing this home.

Located on the border between Neve Tzedek and Florentin, Tel Aviv’s vibrant city culture is right on your doorstep. Inside, you’ll find a mix of East Asian and European styles with a quaint nautical touch, creating a space where history meets present-day Jaffa. The rooftop terrace is something out of the ordinary – we couldn’t help but love the way it sets the scene for pure relaxation with the sound of calm waves in the background. Spend warm afternoons grilling locally sourced produce on the barbecue, then lounging on the comfy seats with a glass of Israeli wine in hand. If exploring is on the agenda, weave through winding alleyways to the Ilana Goor Museum, a seven-minute walk away, or take the five-minute stroll to Jaffa Beach, stopping at the Ottoman Jaffa Clock Tower en-route.

A bohemian oasis close to the sea, this home brings together a variety of influences from all over the world to make something new. Set in a historic villa, it packs multiple levels, all with an abundance of character. Some of the furniture is vintage, while other things are new – all in all, it just feels like it's got soul. We can see the love that's gone into this place – we especially adore the quirky touches, such as the traffic lights in the bathroom. The views are pretty special too of the sea and Tel Aviv. There are three outdoor spaces (yes, you did read that right) to choose from. Our favourite though has to be the roof terrace with its day bed – it's the perfect place to watch the sunset or have a few glasses of wine. Inside, huge arched windows allow the light to flood in, making the living space a lovely place to unwind. This home has a lot to offer, but don't forget to take advantage of the nearby area as well – Old Jaffa, its world-famous flea market, and many local hang-outs are just a five-minute walk away. On the other hand, Old Jaffa Beach is just a two-minute stroll if you fancy sunbathing on its golden sands or taking a dip in the turquoise waters of the Meditteranean.

Hypnotic comes with absolutely outstanding views of Tel Aviv. Located on the tenth floor, it’s impossible not to be mesmerised by the ever-changing cityscape (t's even better in person!). While the immediate area isn’t the most lively, you’re within walking distance to both Neve Tzedek and Levinsky Market. We know it's small, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not a comfortable base. We also like how modern it is – and also how both the living room and bedroom are flooded with natural light.

This apartment is all about wellness and luxurious living – a private hammam with beautiful mosaics, a sculptural bathtub, a custom made marble sink, an outdoor Jacuzzi, you name it, this home has it. Stylish with exotic touches and a modern take on coastal style, it’s great for a couple looking for a romantic getaway (especially considering the open layout). The two rooftop terraces are bigger than the home itself – 2,700 square feet that house many surprises, including a six-person hot tub, plus gorgeous views of the Mediterranean and Old Jaffa, there’s never a dull moment to be had. 

If you’re keen to get out and explore, the eclectic Jaffa Flea Market is a mere three-minute walk from your building. Begin mornings with a stroll along the Homat HaYam Promenade, five minutes away, before finding a spot on Jaffa Beach to while away the hours in the golden sunshine. Retreat home in the early evening to fire up the barbecue, open a bottle of Israeli wine, and watch dusk fall over Tel Aviv and beyond.

With its jungle of leafy houseplants, terrazzo-style flooring, and earthy colour palette, we could immediately tell owner Shay has a soft spot for the seventies. Shelves are chock-full of vintage curiosities and there’s a well-stocked collection of books and magazines to keep you occupied during quiet moments. Natural light ripples through huge windows which slide open to reveal your own private balcony. Settle in with a coffee among the flourishing greenery before stepping out into your Florentin locale. Creative types will feel especially at home here, in just five minutes by foot you’ll be among bohemian bars, eclectic galleries and eye-catching street art. Wander for twenty minutes to Old Jaffa and weave through the alleys filled with craft shops. Pick up a bargain at the flea market or head to Jaffa Port for fresh seafood and a bottle of wine in a laidback waterside restaurant.

There's only one place to start with this apartment in the Ajami neighbourhood of Tel Aviv and that's the glorious seafront balcony. As well as looking out from the building's top floor to mesmerising views of endless blue, there's plenty to keep you entertained up there, from the inflatable hot tub and hammock to the barbecue and alfresco dining set-up. You'll also find yoga mats, surfboards and beach equipment that guests are free to borrow. Back inside, there are billowing white curtains that keep up the seaside feeling, as well as the host's impressive collection of sculptures from Indonesia and Africa. When you fancy getting closer to the Mediterranean Sea, Givat Aliya Beach takes less than five minutes to reach on foot. You can also walk along the coast to reach the Old Town in around twenty-five minutes, too.

It would be remiss to talk about this home and not mention the roof terrace first. With panoramic views of Tel Aviv, an inviting hot tub and a dining table for moonlight suppers, there’s nowhere else we’d rather spend Israel’s balmy summer evenings. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a spacious balcony – it was our favourite spot for morning coffees and light, late lunches. Inside, hints of industrial design are softened by mid-century modern furnishings. You’ll find a kitchen fully equipped for putting together mezze platters and minimalist bedrooms that are a pleasure to retreat to after an afternoon spent weaving through bustling souks. Your Old Jaffa neighbourhood is hip, artsy and packed with history. Ancient ruins provide a mystical backdrop to the electric bars, restaurants and burgeoning art galleries that cluster around the port – a fifteen-minute walk away. Plus, you’re only ten minutes from the Ilana Goor Museum and five from the prominent Jaffa Clock Tower.

Location-wise, it almost doesn’t get any better than this. Found in the heart of Old Jaffa, there’s an abundance of things to do on your doorstep – why not pick up some vintage treasures at the world-famous flea market, or stop by one of the many bakeries for a sweet treat? As it has two bedrooms (one of which is designed for children), this home is perfect families. If you don’t feel like spending all of your time at home (we wouldn’t judge you if you did), you’re a short walk from Old Jaffa, with its many bakeries, restaurants, and coffee shops.

If you need to catch up with those all-important emails, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly space, or why not set yourself up on the master suite’s private balcony for a panoramic-viewed workstation? Just along the coast from Tel Aviv, this family-sized villa puts you a short walk from the beach and an easy drive into the city centre. Your local beach is Rishon LeTsiyon Beach where you’ll find seafood restaurants, wine bars and cafes lining the long stretch of sand, just a few minutes' walk away. Once you’ve had your fill of salt and sand, head back to your villa for a soak in the eight-person Jacuzzi in the privacy of your plant-filled backyard. Towering palms, ferns and banana-leaf trees shade the dining table from the midday sun where a gas grill can provide alfresco feasts. 

Slide open the glass doors to the huge living room to blend the terrace with the indoors. A long sofa sits in the sunshine by floor-to-ceiling glass and there’s a stylish, ink-black dining table for the group to gather around. In the kitchen, a sleek island provides plenty of prep space and a spot for guests to sip a local Syrah on bar stools. This crisp white space opens out to a light-filled living room, complete with a neutral-hued plump sofa and a private balcony that offers prime beach views. Abstract artworks, geometric textiles and thoughtful furnishings make the space feel bright and cultured. And with inspiring views across the city, this is the perfect setting for a spectacular retreat by the Mediterranean sea.

Spend a day on the sands of Tayo Beach, or why not try out jet skiing? The centre of Tel Aviv is nearby too, where you can visit the Noga Gallery of Contemporary Art and the Tel Aviv Museum of Art before grabbing lunch at one of the local eateries offering shawarma and pillowy challah bread.

But we think you’ll spend most of your time on the sprawling terrace. Start the afternoon with a competitive game of table tennis before soaking up the glorious sunshine on a lounger. When dusk begins to fall, bliss out in the hot tub with a glass of your favourite tipple in hand. 

If you fancy exploring instead, Jerusalem Beach is no more than a two-minute walk from your doorstep and atmospheric Old Jaffa is a short car ride away. Check out the bustling flea market and intriguing Ilana Goor Museum.
