Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Surrounded by restaurants, cafes and some of Porto's most iconic sights, this apartment is one of eight conversions of former workers' houses. Now, it's a charming spot for couples and solo travellers itching to be in the heart of this vibrant city. Porto Cathedral, Lapa Church, and the Douro River are all reachable on foot or from the tram stop only minutes away. This place does lack character inside, and the bedroom is in a mezzanine, which may not suit taller guests. That said, though you share the patio with neighbours on either side of you, the little bistro table still makes for a nice breakfast spot every morning.

Home truths
Your host operates several apartments here. While the exact view, layout and furnishings may differ from the photos, the overall quality should remain the same.
Parking in Porto can be tricky, so we recommend using public transit instead of driving.
The stairs to the mezzanine bedroom don't have a railing, so it won't be suitable for guests with limited mobility. The bedroom ceiling also slopes, so taller guests will need to mind their heads.
You may hear noise from neighbours, as well as nearby construction. Light sleepers should pack earplugs.
The outdoor terrace is shared with other guests.
A travel cot can be provided on request.
You won't find any essentials here, so we suggest stocking up at the nearby supermarket.

It’s full of architectural curiosities, and there are several museums and parks to explore. Boavista is definitely quieter than the neighbouring suburb of Cedofeita. The metro can shuttle you up and down the long avenue – but in many spots you’ll still be walking distance from the centre. Its...
