Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

It's not every day you get to stay a five-minute stroll from a century-old wooden roller coaster. This studio apartment near Tivoli Gardens, Europe's second-oldest amusement park, is a real find. If you prefer more genteel thrills, there are gardens here and some fantastic restaurants. Like the theme park, this studio has a few ups and downs. There's a king-size bed to relax on when you return, but no sofa (there are a couple of chairs, though). The kitchen is also very compact, with little food preparation space, so we'd say it's best suited for preparing light meals like smørrebrød.

Home truths

This is a studio apartment with no lounge, though there are a couple of chairs and a dining set.

    There's a shared garden here.

The kitchen is compact, though there is a hob and microwave. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.

If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a high chair for free. You'll need to request it in advance.

This home overlooks other apartments, so the views aren't the most inspiring.

Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.

About Ved Søerne

Three man-made lakes make up the border between Copenhagen’s city centre and the more residential boroughs like Østerbro, Frederiksberg and Nørrebro surrounding it. Although the area by the lakes is not technically a neighbourhood by official standards as it covers an area spilling into several boroughs as well as Copenhagen’s Indre By district, it’s a popular spot to live regardless of what side you live on. Especially loved by joggers,...
