Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Found in an ancient hamlet in Lucca, this Italian cottage charms with stone walls and exposed beams. Because of its age, the interior is that of a more traditional home, which might not be to everyone's taste. Still, it's comfortable and family-friendly. It's worth noting the sloped ceilings could be hazardous to taller guests, and there's no air conditioning in the third bedroom. With ample outdoor seating, you can take in the greenery on the horizon with a glass of wine. The swimming pool above ground also gives you a unique view of the village. For day trips, venture to Pisa or Lucca – both reachable by car.

Home truths
While all the bathrooms aren’t photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
There’s free parking for one car in the garage.
There are stairs leading to the upper floors.
The ceiling in some areas is on the low side. It might not be suitable for taller guests.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
The air conditioning does not reach the bedroom with the bunk beds. The bedroom curtains here don't fully block out the sunlight. If you're hoping to enjoy a lie-in, you might want to pack an eye mask.
The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts.
