Overlooking the Wimbledon Common, this upstairs apartment is a stone's throw from the world-class tennis club. You'll find a traditional interior to complement this home's heritage – think stained glass windows, plus a grand piano in the dining room. Though the study will be locked during your stay, and one of the bedrooms has low sloped ceilings, there's lots to love about life in the suburbs. If you don't fancy strolling in the nearby parkland or playing golf, free parking makes it easy to explore further.

About Wimbledon
It might well be most people's primary association with the area, but the truth is there's so much more to Wimbledon than tennis. With the wilds of the Common, plus verdant Richmond and Wimbledon Parks close by, and the village at the top of the hill, visitors would be forgiven for thinking they'd left London altogether. Central London is actually only 30 minutes away by tube so Wimbledon really does represent the best of both worlds. With its parks, leafy streets, period houses, excellent pubs and boutique shopping, it's little wonder that Richmond is so popular with affluent families.
