When it comes to transport, options are aplenty from here, with the mainline Charing Cross station on your doorstep. While the home itself isn't the most soulful, it’s perfectly practical, with a fully-equipped kitchen and a large dining table for up to four guests – ideal for throwing dinner parties. Just keep in mind that you'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of this home on the fourth floor.

It's certainly conveniently located for flopping into bed after seeing a show, but be warned you will be sharing the area with quite a lot of tourists and you won't find many proper Londoners or signs...
