Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Fancy staying in a historic home with an open fireplace, arched windows, and sloped ceilings? Look no further than this pet-friendly cottage, ideal for families of four. The hillside location means there are outdoor steps to climb, but the scenic setting and landscape views are worthwhile. We love the Italianate garden, though an unfenced pond calls for eagle-eyed parenting. You'll be just one mile from the centre of Dartmouth, yet we recommend hiring a car to explore Devon's striking coast.

Home truths
While this home has a daybed in the anteroom, the maximum occupancy is four guests. The daybed is an additional small single bed, which is suitable for children only.
There are at least twenty steps leading up to the front door here, and uneven steps in the garden. There's also an unfenced pond in the garden here. If you're bringing little ones or pets, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
The ceiling in some areas, such as at the top of the stairs, is on the low side. It might not be suitable for taller guests.
There’s free off-road parking for up to two cars roughly 75 yards downhill, beside the white boathouse next to the neighbour’s driveway. We recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay.
