Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Delivering knockout vistas of Florence's rooftops and the mighty Duomo from nearly every room, we've fallen hard for this central bolthole. Each light-filled bedroom is as elegant as the next, though they are short on floor and storage space, so we recommend packing lightly. It's also worth noting at full occupancy, it could be a squeeze to all kick back on the sofa, and while the kitchen is well-equipped, it's short on prepping space. It's the perfect excuse to eat out instead, and luckily, you're an olive stone's throw from countless traditional trattorias for all the Tuscan classics.

Home truths

This home is part of an apartment building, and you’ll share an entrance. Expect to bump into other guests during your stay.

Your host will greet you at the apartment to help you settle in.

This home is located on the fourth floor without a lift, and the apartment is set over two floors with internal stairs. Be prepared to climb quite a lot of stairs.

The bedrooms have limited floor space and storage, so we'd recommend packing light.

At full occupancy, it will be a squeeze to all sit down in the cosy living room.

Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.

Some guests felt the pillows and duvet could be better quality, and that the host could provide more towels

About Santa Croce

Santa Croce is a trendy, architecturally impressive neighbourhood that’s less busy than the Duomo or San Marco districts, but still in the heart of Florence. Home to the eponymous basilica, and the Casa Buonarroti museum, it’s located in the eastern part of Florence’s historic centre. The largest crowds have thinned out by this point, but if you stay here, you're still close enough to explore the whole city on foot....
