Brentford is a western area of Great London. It is maybe not the go-to part of town for those visiting London but there are some pretty attractions here that should get some more attention. The Syon Estate for example, the London residence of the Duke of Northumberland, is beautiful. Walk across Kew Bridge and you will have access to Kew Botanical Gardens, a place that those in Central London often go to at the weekends to escape the hustle and bustle of London, this is on your doorstep.
