Nestled in the lively Latin Quarter, this 5th arrondissement apartment makes a cosy base for sightseeing. Sidewalk cafes, independent boutiques, and many famous landmarks – including Notre Dame and the Pantheon – are easily reached on foot. The metro is also nearby for adventures further afield. Sure, the home itself may not be the biggest, but it has all the essentials you'll need for a comfortable stay. There's a compact kitchen and a sofa bed for guests three and four, while pets are welcome for a small fee. The cherry on top is the snug sauna in the bathroom, ideal for unwinding after exploring Paris.

Home truths

Two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area. Space may be tight with it in use, so if you'd like ample room for socialising, we suggest a maximum guest count of two.

The double bed is pushed against the wall on one side and is rather snug.

Please note that the only window in the bedroom is internal and overlooks the kitchen. It lacks natural light and isn't the most private.

As this is a ground-floor apartment in the heart of Paris, some street noise is likely.

The compact kitchen lacks an oven, but there is a hob – however, you'll find plenty of restaurants in the nearby area.

Your host can provide a cot for children up to 3 years old on request.

On arrival, you'll be able to check yourself in via a lockbox.

About Île Saint Louis

Only a bridge away from busy and touristy Paris, l'Île Saint Louis is a small village at the capital's heart that's remained peacefully frozen in 17th century France. The tranquility of this island hits you as soon you as set foot and the lack of public transport makes it ideal for lovers of walks, long or short. Despite this, your time on the island will be far from uneventful -...
