Sitting atop Dover's Hill, this home boasts some of the finest views in the Cotswolds. It's a haven for amblers and outdoor enthusiasts. You're a stone's throw from the footpaths along the Cotswolds Way – perfect for walks with the dogs – while Chipping Campden and Moreton-in-Marsh are also nearby. Back home, the terrace is ideal for relaxing with a cup of tea (or something stronger) and admiring the idyllic scenery. Inside, an electric fireplace keeps things cosy during the cooler months, and there's even a vintage writer's desk for remote workers. Though there is a sofa bed here (which you can pay to use), we think it works best as a romantic retreat for two.

Additional fees

• The sofa bed in the living space can accommodate the third and fourth guests with prior approval from your host – an additional fee will apply.

• Two well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you for an additional fee of £47 each. They must be kept on a lead beyond the enclosed terrace.

• Your host works with local vendors to provide a variety of in-cottage services for an additional fee, including wine and cider tastings, private chefs and dining experiences, hampers and food boxes, cooking classes, yoga sessions, floristry workshops, craft kits, massages, and beauty treatments.
