If you're looking for an authentic Parisian stay, this is just the place. Artisan bakeries are on your doorstep, the vibrant Latin Quarter is a five-minute stroll away, and Notre Dame is right around the corner. Undoubtedly, the location is postcard-perfect, but the actual home is equally charming. It has a private (if slightly overlooked) garden, perfect for sharing wine and brie alfresco and at 25 square meters, this is a rare and substantial treat in this area. Sleeping arrangements are super flexible here, too – the bedrooms can be arranged with either king or twin beds, and the trundle in the lounge fits one adult or two children. Those longing for a bit of character also will adore the quintessentially French details, including a vaulted brick ceiling and tomette tiled floors.

Home truths
The bedrooms can be arranged with a king-sized bed or two twins – let your host know which you'd prefer. A comfortable day bed in the living room has a pull-out trundle that accommodates either a fifth adult guest or two small children.
One of the en-suite bedrooms is located upstairs, though the other is on the ground floor.
The garden is overlooked by the surrounding homes. Your host asks that you keep noise to a minimum while using the outdoor area, as sound travels throughout the interior courtyard. Smoking is also not allowed here, though a public bench is a short walk away for smoke breaks.
Only moments away from a thrice-weekly open-air market at Place Maubert - please ask your host for details.

The streets are picture perfect, with paved streets and curving walls aplenty.
