Arriving at this cosy Victorian cottage feels a little like stepping back in time – until you see the modern details. It’s been beautifully refurbished and transformed into a boutique home with all the comforts you could ask for, all the while retaining its historic charm. The lounge is upstairs, benefitting from wonderful views, and the kitchen is equipped with all the mod-cons, including a Quooker tap. The bedrooms feature deep, luxurious mattresses. The cottage is located in the heart of Sedbergh, a charming town on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and only a short drive from the Lake District. You’ll have bookshops, pubs, and an excellent butcher shop on your doorstep, in addition to stunning walks.
