Full of character and charm, this apartment is a fuss-free base to call home in the City of Lights. The all-in-one living area is adorned with timber beams and cosy touches, though it can be a little snug with the sofa bed in use. Outside, Le Marais is a hub of independent restaurants, boutiques, and galleries – it's a prime spot for exploring, especially with a metro station nearby. You're also just steps from Place des Vosges, the oldest square in the city.

Home truths

At full capacity, one guest will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area. Space may be a bit tight with it in use, so we think this home is best for two.

The double bed is on the smaller side – two guests may find it a little snug.

This apartment is on the second floor of a building without an elevator. You'll have to climb the stairs here.

There is some adult-themed artwork in the living area.

There isn't a real dining table here, but there are four stools around the island that you can use for eating and remote working.

This home lacks an information manual, which some guests would have appreciated.

Depending on preference, you might not find the hot water to be hot enough here.
