With countless boutiques and cocktail bars, as well as being wedged between two beautiful outdoor spaces – Hyde Park and Green Park – Mayfair has a lot to offer its visitors. Much like this fabulous apartment, this area of London is pure opulence, but can also offer a little serenity in a hectic city. Before you even get inside your home, your host sets the tone for a luxury stay. You’ll be offered a welcome gift, concierge, housekeeping, reservations for restaurants or West End shows, plus exclusive rates at a swanky nearby health club. Are you feeling pampered yet? Inside, the treats continue with kimonos imported from Japan, vintage Moroccan rugs (woven by hand), and sustainable bamboo flooring. You can make the most of the cosy outdoor decking area, but we imagine you’ll mostly be indoors – the decor is extremely tasteful and well thought out. The standout feature is the modern fireplace in the living area, surrounded by huge floor-to-ceiling mirrors to extend the space. Imagine curling up by the fire with a glass of red on a chilly evening. Or of course, you might want to head out. Not only can you get to vibrant Soho, Bond Street,... and Regent Street in less than five minutes, but iconic London sights such as Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery are less than a mile away.

About Soho
Though there are still signs of its seedier past if you look hard enough, Soho is now home mainly to affluent young media types most of whom work in the area and who love the period townhouses, history-filled pubs, and buzzing independent restaurant scene. If you want to be in the thick of London's late-night bar scene and rubbing shoulders with London's hippest young things, then you're in the right place. If you want peace and quiet at the end of the day and are a light sleeper then you might want to look elsewhere.
