Nestled in the Canarian village of Tías in Lanzarote, this contemporary villa ticks all the boxes for a coastal family stay. Inside, the home is simply styled, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out – and with each bedroom boasting its own en-suite, there will be no queue to get ready in the mornings. But, the cherry on top for us is the outdoor space, with sun-kissed terraces, sea views and a private pool. If you can tear yourself away, a mere five-minute drive takes you to the ports, beaches and eateries of Puerto del Carmen.

Home truths
Air conditioning is present in two bedrooms – the remaining three bedrooms have ceiling fans for guests' comfort.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing children, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
Single beds are pushed together in some rooms to form kings.
The en-suites are open to the bedrooms so privacy is limited. The main bedroom has an indoor and outdoor shower.
