Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Keen to be in the hustle and bustle? This apartment, just a ten-minute stroll from Gran Vía, may be a great choice. It's easy to get to all the landmarks on foot or by metro, and there are a lot of bars and restaurants nearby. Unsurprisingly it can get a tad noisy – but that's part of the city experience. We love the bright living area, and the two snug bedrooms channel Spanish sunshine with their yellow paint. Size-wise, it's rather compact but still comfortable – just note that it's on the second floor and lacks a lift.

Home truths
There isn't a lift here, and though this apartment is on the second floor, it's about four flights of stairs to reach the entrance.
This apartment is smaller than it looks in the pictures – the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms are pretty compact.
Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay. The main bedroom faces the street, so we suggest parking earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
The decor here is a little simple and generic – it may not suit those seeking a more luxurious experience.

Welcoming a mix of trendy locals, university students and in-the-know tourists, this area attracts those looking to move away from the more standard Madrid neighbourhoods to one with a unique, creative flair. There's an abundance of independent stores and vintage shops, and this part of town has...
