On the outskirts of charming Ericeira, this home puts you a five-minute walk from shops, restaurants, and beaches. It's a great spot for exploring on foot, though there's plenty to love here besides the location. For starters, the coastal views are hard to beat. Another favourite is the hot tub – ideal for a sunset soak – while the terrace has alfresco dining covered. The design inside is modern and bright, with a collection of comfortable bedrooms to choose from. As the fifth bedroom boasts a trundle bed, we think this pad is best for eight adults and two children.

We'd recommend a guest count of eight adults and two children here, as the fifth bedroom has a single bed with a pull-out trundle that's best suited to kids.
