Home truths

    The home is located in a rather remote area. If you're after shops, restaurants and bars on your doorstep, this isn't for you.

    There's free on-street parking for up to two cars. The road leading up to the house is unpaved. It is private to residents, forest guards and loggers.

    At full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed, on the ground floor.

    There's no TV here.

    The host can provide a baby cot and a high chair, at no extra cost.

    In case of snow, the host will assist with a 4x4 transfer on the last mile to the home.

    The path leading up to the house is a little steep, bear this in mind if you have wheeled luggage.

    The wood-burning hot tub can take up to a couple of hours to heat up in winter months.
