This former farmhouse boasts panoramic views, a private swimming pool, and plenty of character. Everyone will love milling about the garden. Stretch out on a poolside lounger after a dip, or gather under the veranda for a drink as the sun goes down. We're big fans of the traditional details inside – think chestnut ceiling beams, terracotta floors, and antique Sicilian majolica pottery. For those keen on privacy, the fifth bedroom is situated in an adjacent annexe with its own kitchenette. Location-wise, the small commune of Attigliano is a five-minute drive away, while Orvieto, Perugia, and Rome are all great day trip options.

Home truths

The fifth bedroom has an en-suite and is housed in an annexe with a small kitchen. It's connected to the main house but completely independent.

If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair upon request.

The swimming pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.

We highly suggest hiring a car in this area. There's on-site parking available for four cars.

Portable air conditioning is available only in the bedrooms.

Given the age of the home, expect some of the interiors to look a bit tired.

About Umbria

Sometimes overshadowed by neighbouring Tuscany, Umbria has so much to offer in its own right. Here, you’ll find Assisi, best known as the birthplace of St Francis, Perugia, with its famous Palazzo dei Priori, the cliff-top town of Orvieto, and Gubbio, home to the Iguvine Tablets. While its urban areas offer Medieval architecture, charming piazzas and excellent restaurants aplenty, it’s the countryside for which you really visit Umbria. The region...
