Two minutes from Ledru-Rollin station, the glitz of the 1st arrondissement is just a metro ride away from this apartment. But straddling the trendy 4th, 11th and 12th, the Bastille quarter of east Paris trades glamour for an exciting selection of galleries, bars, and independent venues. And with Le Marais under twenty minutes away, a bohemian lifestyle continues on foot everywhere you turn. Now, let’s start from the top – truly at the top. Your home sits on the seventh floor of a traditional Parisian block, from which the views are simply unmatched. The triple set of windows in the cosy lounge frames the most spectacular scene of rooftops, spires, chimneys, and the Sacré-Cœur in the distance. If you manage to drag yourself away from the windowsill, the rest of the apartment is another delightful sight. Modern, quirky, and colourful, we love the selection of framed artworks adorning the walls, with a jazzy geometric rug on the floor. There’s a certain airy and fresh atmosphere with white walls and understated furniture, which in our eyes is perfect for one thing – ensuring that the awe-inspiring sunsets over the city are the main event.
