Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

The understatement on display in this historic house allows some of the warm, textural elements of the design – like the exposed beam ceiling, tiled floors and concrete steps – to sing. Set within a stunning fifteenth-century building, the home is spread over three floors, accessible via a beautiful spiral staircase that eventually emerges in between the three bedrooms up on the second floor. The interior is a largely pared-back affair, with a definite nod to Scandinavian simplicity, but without veering into the impersonal. While the Tiber isn’t actually visible from the front door, but it’s only one street over, and the Castel Sant’Angelo is just a few minutes' walk on the other bank. Elsewhere, you're around five minutes from the ever-popular Piazza Navona and ten to the lively morning market in Campo de' Fiori.

Local guide

About Navona

Stretching from Piazza Navona to the river, the area is one of the most atmospheric in the city. The Piazza, with its Bernini statues and Borromini church, is the main draw, but there are any number of golden palazzos, many with inner courtyards to explore. The area is sliced in two by Corso Vittorio Emmanuele, one of Rome's most frenetic roads, but you can dive down the nearest sides street...

This home is managed by Torre Vecchiarelli

This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. While Flaminia used to work in the world of horse-riding, she’s been in hospitality for the past several years, while also making time to look after her three children. She’s quite the multitasker!
