From the moment you enter this typical Parisian rooftop apartment - completely renovated by an esteemed architect - you'll feel captivated by its romantic appeal. Housed in the courtyard of an XVIIIth-century building, right beside the City Hall of the 9th arrondissement, this home blends history and design in elegant fashion. Inside, it's a bright and breathable space with plenty of skylight windows overhead and curated greenery below – we really loved the artificial orange tree in the corner. Stepping in to look around the decor, you'll find antique pieces and exotic objects on full display, with the characterful exposed beams as a rustic backdrop. The Louis XV armchairs are a favourite of ours and provide a touch of classical sophistication. Speaking of, take in a performance at the prestigious Opera Garnier, only a twelve-minute walk from your door. The home's location close to Grands Boulevards (five minutes on foot) works both for sightseers and shoppers alike, and gives you plenty of excuses to get out and explore – as if you'd need one in the heart of the city of love.
