Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

This home stands proudly above adjacent buildings and casts an imposing shadow on the street below, famous for its upmarket gentlemen's outfitters – with your downstairs neighbour being a traditional shoe shop. The whole area has a classy and traditional London vibe, so upon entering this grand building, you might be surprised by the interiors of the flat. Sleek white fixtures and fittings, monochrome photography prints, honey-coloured flooring, and a neutral colour palette are a welcome contrast to the buzz of nearby Piccadilly. Sip an Earl Grey on the balcony as you look out over the city centre from your vantage point. The plush bedrooms also feature French doors or large windows with views – it’s a city that deserves to be seen. You should be able to spot St James's Church at Piccadilly, right across the street. As it’s well known for its classical music programme, why not stop in for a lunchtime concert? Then on to St James’s Square, where you can unwind in elegant and peaceful formal gardens. For the evening, the glitzy restaurants of Mayfair are calling. You won’t even need to hail a black cab, as it’s only a ten-minute walk away.

Home truths

There's a nightclub in the building, so it can be rather noisy

The balcony is pretty cosy – perfect for a nightcap or morning coffee but probably not alfresco dining

As the lift is quite small, you'll have to go up in groups of two

There's a strict check-in time of between 3pm and 9pm, if you want to check in later you'll need to pay extra fees

This property is fitted with a noise detection device – your host politely asks guests to keep the noise down to respect other neighbours in the building

About St. James's

Once the London home of the very wealthiest members of the British aristocracy, almost every building lining the streets of St. James’s is a palace – though now most play host to corporate headquarters and grand hotels rather than famous families. Pall Mall is the home of London’s gentleman’s clubs, in whose backrooms the new aristocracy of newspaper editors, CEOs, generals and investment bankers swig brandy and make insider deals....
