Tempus has pretty much everything going for it. Not only is it in the very centre of Monti (on a backstreet though, so it’s pretty quiet), but the design shows off a lovely mix of original brick archways and modern, almost industrial touches. The enormous kitchen island is a dream, and we haven’t come across many more inviting bathrooms than the little grotto here. It’s very bright, thanks to the plate glass windows, but these also bring about the only flaw we could find – you’re definitely in a bit of a fishbowl.

Local guide
About Monti
It's a truth universally acknowledged that in every city, there is a district just waiting to be described as expressing the spirit of the old Soho. In Rome, Monti is that place, and the connection is a fair one - although what Monti lacks in advertising agencies and mustachioed tech bros, it makes up for in creative enclaves, smoky bars and delicious places to eat. Nestled right in the heart...

Host
This home is managed by Guido
This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Guido used to work for a large company in America, with hosting just as a hobby on the side. He soon made it his main job, however, and kept on like that when he moved back to Rome. He lives just around the corner from the flat, so it should be fairly easy to get hold of him should you need to.
