What a great location this lovely home has – it's just a six-minute stroll from Emperor Nero's Golden House (Domus Aurea), while the Colosseum is eight minutes on foot and the Roman Forum is ten. Back at this apartment, housed in a 19th-century building, there's a wonderful terrace with a comfy sofa, which is just what you need after a day exploring the Eternal City. There's a dining table here too, perfect for alfresco suppers of cacio e pepe (a Roman staple of pasta, pepper and cheese). Inside, we love that there's a lot of natural light, which helps the trendy Sansevieria plants to thrive. Mix up a Campari in the modern kitchen and relax on the plush purple sofa – bliss.
