Bold yet regal, this townhouse in Belgravia is the prime spot for a lux London stay. Hidden down a narrow street, away from the buzz of central London, you’ll find a home radiating Edwardian country house vibes inside. Oil portraits, wood panels and a palette of soft caramels and creams whisper of old-world charm. A grand, A-frame conservatory secreted at the back of the home is your own solarium, with floral armchairs that invite you to share a pot of tea for two. While in the winter months a working fireplace in the living room is a welcome bonus. The country-style kitchen has more than enough for self-catering with a range cooker and Belfast sink able to accommodate the bustle of family breakfast time, or a full Sunday roast if you fancy. Up on the top floors, the bedrooms have views of Balgravia’s stately rooftops. You’re in the heart of London here, with Buckingham Palace and the world-famous shops of Knightsbridge both less than 10 minutes on foot, and the green expanse of Hyde Park in front of you. Please note all stays of 8 nights or more include complimentary weekly cleaning, linen changes and replenishment of toiletries.
