If you want to stay in central London, it doesn't get much more central than staying next to Trafalgar Square. And if you want to stay in a home with an unusual history, it doesn't get much more unusual than staying in a former members’ club in a Norwegian embassy. This unique home is striking from the offset – those wood-panelled walls and chunky beams are even more jaw-dropping in real life. This rich wood brings warmth to the space, with modern art and classy upholstery adding twenty-first century elegance to the original interiors. As you’re up on the fifth floor, you can catch some sights of London from the window, as well as having easy access to them on the ground. The St James’s area is small but mighty – home to grand buildings, some of the city’s most famous attractions, and just a short walk from a wild night out in Soho. Charing Cross tube is a few minutes away on foot, plus you'll casually pass by Nelson’s Column and the National Gallery en route from your home. Although the bars and restaurants of the city are on your doorstep, we can’t think of anything better than ending... the evening with a gin and tonic in your gorgeous wooden lounge. Cheers to that. Please note all stays of 8 nights or more include complimentary weekly cleaning, linen changes and replenishment of toiletries.

About St. James's
Once the London home of the very wealthiest members of the British aristocracy, almost every building lining the streets of St. James’s is a palace – though now most play host to corporate headquarters and grand hotels rather than famous families. Pall Mall is the home of London’s gentleman’s clubs, in whose backrooms the new aristocracy of newspaper editors, CEOs, generals and investment bankers swig brandy and make insider deals....
