With its exposed beam ceilings, wood floors and large windows, this colourful home just outside the Vatican seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern comforts. The living room is a laid-back affair with large plump sofas to lounge on while reading a book from the open shelves or admiring the eye-catching art that pops in rainbow hues against the white walls. We love the bright dining area where a glass table sits beneath the chandelier, and the open kitchen that makes socialising a breeze. The bedroom here is simple yet elegant, with an en suite boasting a rainfall shower with views of the courtyard and a bathtub with chromotherapy lights to ramp up your soak's serenity. With St. Peter’s Square just a five-minute walk away, you’ve got culture and history right on your doorstep. That said, with your host able to arrange at-home massages, private chefs, restaurant reservations and tickets to the city’s top events, your home gives you a slice of heaven without ever needing to step out the front door.

Home truths
Unfortunately, this home isn't suitable for infants under two years old
This home has a strict no noise policy between 2pm and 4pm as well as between 11pm and 8am
When we tested this home, the Wi-Fi speed was on the low side and could have been faster
There's no lift in the building, and the stairs up to the apartment are quite steep and narrow
At maximum capacity, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room, though four guests at once here will be a bit of a tight squeeze
Paid parking is available near the home, though we suggest skipping the car in Rome and exploring on foot or by taxi instead

Host
This home is managed by LETIZIA
This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Letizia was born in Palermo, but has lived in Rome since her early teens. Before starting to rent out this home, she worked in accounting, but decided to look for something a bit more exciting. She’s into both sports and cooking, so clearly she’s an excellent person to know for your trip to Rome.
