You're just 4 kilometres from the centre of Scarlino, a little hilltop commune with cobbled streets and stone buildings. Drive 10 kilometres and you'll hit Cala Violina, a sandy beach on the Gulf of Follonica.

There are twelve apartments on the estate. The communal garden and swimming pool are shared with other residents. The pool is only available to use between 1st June and 30th September.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a free cot on request. The twin bedroom can also be arranged with a double bed on request.
The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts.
There isn't a lift in the building, and this apartment is on the first floor with access via an exterior staircase. Be prepared to climb some steps.
