Minimalist and paired-back, this super-central apartment packs a punch in terms of space – inside and out. We particularly loved the garden and terrace – there’s nothing quite like relaxing in the sunshine with an ice-cold drink after a long day ambling through nearby Chiado and Rossio. Indoors, the home is geared up for socialising with its open-plan kitchen-diner – gather together around the table, sharing anecdotes and bottles of wine as the chef of your group dishes up a Portuguese feast. Kick back under double-height ceilings in the Scandi-inspired living area and if business calls, there’s a large office for you to set up your laptop. Step out into your street and you’ll find yourself less than a five-minute walk from Lisbon’s 12th-century cathedral and ten minutes from the Santa Justa Lift, connecting downtown with the Largo do Carmo. End the day with one of the city’s famous sunsets at the Miradouro das Portas do Sol, a fifteen-minute uphill stroll from your building.
