Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

This modern, crowd-pleasing home is a picture of industrial chic nestled in-between the beach and Barcelona's historic Old Town. Stepping in to look around at the decor, you'll notice low-hanging lampshades, vibrant chairs and a quirky pallet coffee table that we really loved. Natural light pours into the apartment through crittall windows, while super high beamed ceilings and a clever layout make for a light and airy spot to unwind with friends or family after an afternoon spent sightseeing. Rustle up a plate of paella in the sleek metro-tiled kitchen – complete with a sociable breakfast bar to come together for a glass of Barolo. Better still, enjoy alfresco dining out on your private terrace with painted brick walls and garden furniture. As for El Poblenou, it's a residential, quiet neighbourhood without the city noise – and yet under a twenty-minute wander from the iconic La Sagrada Familia.

Home truths

The Wifi is quite patchy here – this might not be the best home for those who want to work at home during their stay

Although this home can accommodate up to eight guests, two people will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room

While this home does have a terrace, guests are not allowed to use it after 10pm, as this is residential neighburhood that's sensitive to noise

There's a low beam at the bottom of the stairs from the living room that you'll need to be extra careful with – mind your head

There isn't a lot of storage space in this home, so you won't be able to unpack a large suitcase in any of the rooms
