Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

This quirky home is full of charm and fascinating architectural design. A salvaged Victorian railway carriage has been incorporated into the design of the home, which boasts retro and urban styling – you’d never guess from the simple white cottage exterior. There’s a pool table and a wood-burning stove for cosy nights in, but most of your stay here will likely be spent exploring the shingle beach just a few steps away, or admiring sea views and the dramatic backdrop of the power station on Dungeness beach. This area is a great choice for wildlife enthusiasts – don’t forget to bring your binoculars.

About Dungeness

Dungeness is nestled in an unspoilt area on the southernmost corner of Kent, near the bay that stretches from Folkestone to Rye. Home to Europe’s largest expanses of shingle and Britain’s only desert, the wild (and somewhat austere) landscape is perfect for walks and wildlife spotting.
